Sunrise on Cedar Creek Lake

This painting was done on Gesso Panel Board. The inspiration came from fishing trips I used to go on in Mexico. Every day we had to be up by 5 and on the water at sunrise. For me, this painting reflects how beautiful it was every day we left the dock, and how scary it was going out in semi darkness and having to miss all of the trees in the lake.
